Forayers gather in the warm dry morning.
Plenty of shade and rain cover if the rain makes a show.
Not likely!
Everyone preps to head out to the woods.
Here folks load into the truck for the ride to the top of the hill. Yes the padding is needed.
Ok lets move out. One foray group heads to the top of the hill, a second group will work the bottom of the hill.
Well no one got soaked walking through wet woods.
Folks arrive back and can get a cool drink.
Fungal finds start to fill the table.
Now to sort and identify.
Clay is busy frying the wontons and straws.
Only have one thing to say...
Got fried food?
Relaxing day.
Stacey starts the indentification process.
At minimum, you'll get your dues back in great food at any one of SVMS's forays.
"Oh yea!"
Working the food line.
Lots of great undocumented food (yep I lost the food list).
But lots of folks brought food to supplement Clay's fried Grifola wontons, Mushroom Straws and Italian sausage with onions and peppers.
And Roger brought wine of course.
You can see some noodle salad here, along with a fruit tray.
And Linda brought her wild mushroom dips of course. Looks like there was salad also.
