Wonderful spring morning as the forgers begin to gather.	Looks like it will be a good day, with no more rain.	Inga is here!
Breakfast snacks were shared.	Linda, Roger and Gil looking ready to go	A good crowd for the first foray of 2009.
Some old faces...	and new.	Catching up after the winter.
New members are always welcome.	The sky brightens.	Yo Richard! Thanks for hosting the Spring "morel" foray. Too bad NY kicked us (and everyone else) out of its state forests.
Ginnies made it through the winter also.	Marcy and Wendell are here too.	Oh Gil, what was that???
Walking sticks are very useful for defending yourself from charging wild mushrooms.	Richard outlines the foray.	"The morel was this high..."
This is a new location for the morel foray so Richard describes the better places to look.	What a turnout!!	One of the best spring turnouts in a while. Of course the lack of cold freezing rain and snow helps.
The group breaks up into 2 forays and heads out.	Some search along the south side of the road in the mixed woods near the stream.	The other half will search up in Gil's woods.
