Friday afternoon the adults work on setting up for the foray.
Lots of work to do....
The kids, well they are in the pool.
Keep an eye out for mushrooms!
Aren't you looking?
Richard starts Friday's fire.
Gill is working hard on that beer.
Eye, what a bonnie fire.
And now its time for the live animal show...
The Guinee Hen wrangler carefully ushers the dangerous creatures out of their cage.
Such care insures the safety of the onlookers.
Now the beasts preform their exciting tricks, like eating bugs, and pulling weeds.
Now that the show is over the wrangler carefully herds the dangerous creatures back to the safety of their steel cage.
Grasshoppers flee before the Guinee Hen's onslaught.
At last they are back in their enclosure, and everyone heaves a sigh of relief.
And now the turkeys can be fed.
Looks like another iron cage match.
Nope, just deep fried home made wontons.
And Richard's home made dills. They were made using a 150 year old recipe (Mrs. Koliandens Polish Dill Pickles).
Relaxing to save energy for tomorrow's foray.
Music by the fire.
Play Gill, play...
by the fire.
Yep, that one.
